Important Update on Employee Vaccination Requirement

Change to Champlain’s Indoor Masking Policy

This message updates Champlain’s masking policy; masking is now required for all students, employees, and visitors, regardless of vaccination status, when in shared indoor spaces.

Student Vaccination Documentation

This message provides details on how to share documentation of COVID-19 vaccination to the Student Health Center as well as how to seek qualifying exemptions for medical or religious reasons.

2021 Summer Resident Masking & Distancing Policy Updates

With 80% of eligible Vermonters vaccinated, the state has lifted pandemic restrictions. As a result, we are updating Champlain’s masking, social distancing, and occupancy policies on campus.

COVID-19 Requirements for Commencement 2021

This important message provides detailed instructions for students who have indicated that that they plan to attend the in-person Commencement ceremonies on Saturday, May 15, 2021.

Residence Hall Spring Closing Update

We are happy to announce that each student will be able to allow one fully vaccinated family member or friend to enter the residence hall to assist with move out.  Students who wish to have a vaccinated family member or friend must complete the attached form and include the name of the person who will assist with the move as well as a few details regarding their vaccination.  This must be completed prior to entering the residence hall. 

Vaccination Update

Several weeks ago, Governor Scott announced vaccination registration dates for all Vermonters 16 years of age and older. Last Wednesday, the state of Vermont clarified the residency requirements for receiving a vaccine and provided an estimated timeline to expand vaccine eligibility to students from outside of Vermont.
