Spring Semester 2022 Move-In Information

Dear Students,

I hope this email finds you well. I am writing with information regarding Spring Semester 2022 move-in.

A campus email went out last Friday indicating that residential students will have the option to move in on the following dates. Move-in times for all days are 8:00 AM–3:30 PM.

  • Sunday, January 16,
  • Sunday, January 23, or
  • Sunday, January 30.

Please log into THD Self Service to indicate which day you’ll be moving in or back to campus. Please complete this form by 3:00 PM Thursday, January 13. If your health status changes and you need to update your arrival date, please log back into THD Self Service and update the form.

For students who have already returned or stayed over break, or students who have already communicated early arrival plans to the Office of Housing & Residential Life, please indicate January 16 so you’ll continue to have access to your building and room. Students with questions should contact Housing and Residential Life at 802.860.2704 or reslife@champlain.edu. International students should plan to return to campus, as planned. International students should reach out to Jessa Karki at jkarki@champlain.edu with questions.

As a reminder, you must follow all COVID protocols that were discussed in the campus email, which includes:

  • Getting a COVID booster and submitting documentation to Health Services
  • Submitting a negative COVID test within 5 days before your arrival
  • Testing on campus at Whiting Hall within the first two days of your arrival (Monday-Tuesday, 9:00 AM–2:00 PM)

Residential students are required to submit a negative test result before travelling to campus. PCR tests must be collected within the 5 days prior to return to campus. Rapid tests, including tests collected at home, are acceptable if they are collected on the date of travel to campus and are labeled with the student’s name and date of collection.

Do not travel to campus if you test positive for COVID-19 within 10 days prior to your arrival date, are in quarantine, or are experiencing COVID symptoms. If you have been identified as a close contact within 10 days prior to arrival please contact the Student Health Center prior to travel to campus.

Students who do not submit a negative test before arriving will not be permitted to move in and failing to test within your first two days on campus will result in being removed from campus until a negative result is provided. Students who have questions should contact Student Health Services at 802.860.2711 or healthservices@champlain.edu
