Extended COVID Testing Hours, Fall Break Reminder & Flu Vaccine Clinics
Dear Students,
It is so great to see our beautiful campus filled with students again this year! We are thankful for the diligent efforts each of you are making everyday to maintain the health and safety of the entire community. Please review the following health & safety updates.
Whiting Hall Testing Center – Extended Hours!!
The Whiting Hall Testing Center is open for walk-in, asymptomatic COVID testing. No appointment needed. As of Monday, October 4, the Testing Center will be open daily, Monday – Friday, from 10 am – 3 pm.
Note: The Testing Center will be closed on Monday, October 11 for Indiginous People’s Day and Champlain College Fall Break. The Testing Center will reopen on Tuesday, October 12 from 10 am – 3 pm.
Feeling Sick?
Symptomatic COVID testing is also available daily, Monday – Friday by appointment. Please call the Student Health Center at (802) 860-2711 or email healthservices@champlain.edu to speak with a nurse and schedule a COVID test.
As a reminder, please do not go to classes or other activities if you are feeling sick. Stay put, self monitor, and call Student Health.
Fall Break
Are you traveling over Fall Break? There are no classes scheduled on October 11th and 12th to provide students a long weekend and time to rest. Students who travel for Fall Break are required to come in for a COVID test when they return to campus.
Flu Vaccine Clinics on Campus
The Student Health Center will be holding the first flu vaccine clinic next Wednesday,October 6, from 10 am – 3 pm in CCM 246. Please follow this link to schedule your flu vaccine appointment. We anticipate these first 250 appointments will fill quickly. Additional dates will be scheduled.
