We are thrilled to be joined by Bishop Shannon MacVean-Brown and Champlain’s own Leslie Averill for this semester’s Women’s Leadership Lunch! The Rt. Rev. Shannon MacVean-Brown is the first Black woman to lead the Vermont Episcopal Church, and just one of three Black women to hold the title of bishop in New England. Leslie Averill, Ed.D., is the Vice President for Academic Affairs and the Chief Operating Officer at Champlain, providing leadership for faculty, programs of study, and academic operations. During the event, each will share stories of their life and career paths. Linda Tarr-Whelan, Visiting Fellow for Women’s Leadership, will moderate the discussion.
