Substance Use Harm Reduction and Recovery Forum

Part one, of a two-part series: Overdose Prevention Sites: Chittenden County has piloted an array of programs and initiatives to combat substance use and the overdose crisis, and there is still much work to be done. You’re invited to come hear from leaders in the county who work every day to continue these efforts. Learn about what harm reduction is and why it works, and what we can do next to reach more folks struggling with substance use disorder (SUD). Speakers include, Sarah George, Chittenden County States Attorney; Scott Pavek, Vermonter, Person in Recovery; Jessica Kirby, Case Manager at Safe Recovery, Person with Lived Experience.

All are invited, including students, professionals working with SUD, and the Burlington community. Educate yourself and others on this issue, or just come for the great speakers! No registration is required. The forum will take place in the Perry Presentation Room in Perry Hall.
