Social Impact & International Service: Collaborations for Creating “Good”

What are the opportunities and challenges involved with service abroad? Who benefits? Who determines what is the “good”? Our panelists will discuss! OUR PANELISTS: Dr. Darlene Grant, Senior Advisor to the Director of the Peace Corps Amy Carst, Communications Director for Malayaka House Dr. Aziz Fatnassi, Assistant Professor in the Core Division at Champlain College Absa Samba, Wraparound Facilitator for Center for Human Services (and class of 2020 Champlain alum!) Dr. Christina Erickson, Director of Service and Sustainability at Champlain College Each panelist will briefly discuss their own history with international service, weigh in on current issues involved in this work, and then we will open it up to general Q&A with the audience. This is the sixth and final event in this year’s Social Impact Intersections series.
