Shades of Me is an affinity group for womxn of color who attend Champlain College. Our purpose is to provide a safe, welcoming, fun, and intersectional space for female identifying folx who are marginalized. We want to foster community on this predominantly white campus. Intersectionality is our core value. We uplift femme, Black, Brown, and Indigenous voices. For the hour we gather, we hope that each participant leaves with strength to survive and thrive.
