Learning to Listen & Listening to Learn | A Civil Discourse Small Group Discussion

As the second event in our “Learning to Listen; Listening to Learn” series, the Provost’s Office is helping to champion a small group discussion in a round table format. The goal of the small group discussions will be to learn skills that support constructive conversations about challenging topics. We will pursue understanding rather than persuasion and model dialogue that provides tools to (1) hear from everyone and (2) share personal stories that can help build trust and address fears and assumptions. This does not mean creating a consensus. Seats are first-come, first-serve, and you do not have to have attended the 2/9 video showing to attend this event.
