Harm Reduction and Recovery Forum, Part II: Access to Treatment

Chittenden County has piloted an array of programs and initiatives to combat substance use and the overdose crisis, and there is still much work to be done. You’re invited to come hear from leaders in the county who work every day to continue these efforts. Learn about what harm reduction is and why it works, and what we can do next to reach more folks struggling with substance use disorder (SUD). This is Part II of a two-part series, focusing on access to treatment.

Speakers include, Cam Lauf, Supervisor in the Emergency Department Peer Recovery Coaching Program; Jackie Corbally, High Risk Behavior Operations Manager in the Burlington Police Department; Dr. Kim Blake, Physician in Burlington at Safe Recovery.

All are invited, including students, professionals working with SUD, and the Burlington community. Educate yourself and others on this issue, or just come for the great speakers! No registration is required. The forum will take place in the Perry Presentation Room in Perry Hall.
