FACULTY RETURN TO WORK

In order to return to your office to work, you must:

  1. complete your VOSHA Training and
  2. complete a Daily Health Form the days you are on campus, and
  3. follow the Return to Work Plan that your Dean will provide you tomorrow, and
  4. read the Covid 19 Safe Work Practices Policy.

Please note, a Health Pledge for your signature will be provided prior to classes starting.

Please be patient as you return. Everyone is doing their best to ensure key card access is working for buildings and offices. If you run into issues, please contact Campus Public Safety to give you access and communicate with your Operations Manager.

FACULTY ZOOM ACCOUNTS

Faculty who requested a Zoom account through the CLT Fall Ramp-Up process should be all set now with their Zoom accounts.  Anyone who would like to be set-up with a Zoom license should contact champsupport@champlain.edu.

DEMO CLASSROOM TECHNOLOGY JOYCE 202

Joyce 202 has been setup as a demo classroom.  It has the standard A/V technology that will be in a typical classroom this fall.  This includes an extra monitor, microphone, webcam and document camera.  To sign-up for the room click here. You must complete VOSHA training and the daily Health Tracking Form before you come to campus.

POSSIBLE CLASSROOM RELOCATIONS

The Registrar’s Office is looking at updated classroom capacities, section enrollments and the number of remote students in each section in order to optimize the usage of our larger capacity classrooms.  We hope to have this work completed by the end of this week (August 21).  Please check WebAdvisor for an updated classroom assignment on Monday, August 24.  If you have any questions or concerns please contact Division Dean.

LIBRARY REOPENING: WEEK OF AUGUST 24

The library is pleased to announce that we will be open for limited hours the week of August 24, Monday-Friday from 9:00 AM–5:00 PM. We will still be offering contactless checkout during these hours as well. We are opening to give faculty the opportunity to come in for course prep or other needs, and to allow library staff to make sure that everything is in place to provide a safe and helpful library experience this coming semester. We look forward to welcoming our community back into the library! The library will reopen with normal semester hours the week of August 31. For an up to date listing of these hours, please visit our website. If you have any questions, email swilson@champlain.edu.
