VIRTUAL ADMITTED STUDENT DAY NEWS

Virtual Admitted Student Day #1 is just around the corner and Admissions currently has 497 students registered to attend.  This is much higher than our in-person events and the majority of those are from the college’s primary market. More information on Virtual Admitted Student Days.

GRADEBOOK & COURSE WITHDRAWAL DEADLINE

Please keep up with your grading so students know how they are doing in your courses. This is especially important as the deadline to withdraw from a course is Friday, April 10th.  If you have noticed that a student has not been participating in your course we recommend that you submit a SCART report.

COVID-19 REFLECTION PROJECT BEING LAUNCHED BY ARCHIVIST ERICA DONNIS

We know that COVID-19 has impacted faculty work and everyday life. What should we know about your experience? By submitting your written reflections and images to the College Archives, you will contribute invaluable first-person perspectives not captured in news articles, social media posts, or official emails. We will not only be archiving your responses for future reference but will be sharing some of them out publicly as we receive them. Please add your voice to this important moment in our history. This form contains faculty/staff-specific prompts and suggestions to get you started on your reflections, followed by a License Agreement that you must read and agree to in order to deposit your work to the College Archives. At the end is a place to upload your file(s).  If you’d like to encourage your students to participate, please share this student-specific form with them.

CLT PRESENTATION:  WORK/LIFE BALANCE

This week the CLT invites you to check-in with yourself and regain some balance.  Champlain College recognizes your tremendous efforts over the past few weeks to educate and support students. We see you. We know that you are famous for putting your students’ needs above your own needs.  We recognize that many of you faced incredible challenges. Many had to adjust to educating remotely, working from home, and caring for loved ones. You met all this with unimaginable grit. Now, more than ever, we hope you will consider focusing some attention on your wellbeing.  To do so, we provide this Work/Life Balance presentation with helpful tips and resources.
