FACULTY & STAFF WEBINAR ON STUDENT RESILIENCY
Please join us for a Faculty and Staff webinar on Thursday, April 23 at 9:30 AM: Working Toward Resiliency in a Time of High Anxiety led by Timothy E. Wilens, MD and Aude Henin, PhD. Zoom details are available in your calendar invitation. Dr. Wilens it the Chief of the Division of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry at Massachusetts General Hospital and the parent of two current Champlain students.
UPDATE ON STUDY ABROAD SUMMER AND FALL 2020
As of April 16, the Champlain Abroad Programs in Montreal for Summer 2020 have been cancelled. At this time, the Fall 2020, Spring 2021, and Summer 2021 programs in Montreal are proceeding as planned, as are Fall 2020 and Spring 2021 programs in Dublin. Students accepted into Montreal or Dublin for Fall 2020 have registered for Burlington-based courses in case we need to cancel our international programs in the fall. They will be removed from those sections and enrolled in courses internationally if those programs run as planned. We will monitor course registrations and add additional courses or sections in Burlington as needed. OIE staff are in weekly communication with students who have applied to study abroad in Fall 2020.
IDEA REMINDER
The IDEA Student Rating of Instruction survey period is entering its final few days, currently scheduled to close Monday at midnight. Not surprisingly, the student response rate so far this spring is much lower than usual. Please encourage your students to provide the feedback we can use to help us help them learn.

VIDEO REQUEST FOR VIRTUAL COMMENCEMENT
The EMC team is putting together a video of faculty clapping, snapping, and waving as one element of our virtual commencement. Please consider donning your regalia and recording a quick video of yourself clapping that will be edited into a fantastic celebratory piece that will help close out the 142nd Commencement Exercises for the Class of 2020. Check out the complete instructions and a PSA from Adam Walker on staging your home shoot. We really hope you can participate as we work to design the most creative and heartfelt commencement experience possible.
