Champlain Ready: A Promise That Pushes You Forward
No matter who you want to be or where you want to go, Champlain will get you ready to be there. Champlain Ready is a feeling, a state of mind, and a commitment. It’s the confidence of knowing you’re equipped with the skills, knowledge, and the understanding that you’re not just a student or a graduate or an employee—you’re a member of a community that’s always evolving, always improving, and always ready to make an impact. You’re ready for work, ready for life, and ready to make a difference.

Building a Better Future Begins With a Vision
We know that success requires being adaptable, innovative, and ready to create positive change. At Champlain College, we’ve always taken a different approach to education, an approach that understands true learning comes from experience, engagement, and a willingness to think outside the box. And now it’s time we reflect how we want the world to see us. We’re pleased to introduce a fresh update to Champlain’s branding that reflects our vision for the future and amplifies our identity.
Vibrant Colors that Tell Our Story
The biggest update you might notice is to our shield, which is now a singular color, called “Champlain Blue.” It’s a subtle change that signals our strength together and a new chapter in our long history. Champlain Blue is just one of the many new brand colors we’ve selected to represent the college, ones that are as bold as our ambitions. If the new palette looks familiar, it’s because we’ve designed it around the campus itself.

These colors include:
- Lake Champlain: Reflecting the serene waters of Lake Champlain, this calming hue embodies growth, exploration, and the limitless possibilities that lie ahead in the heart of Burlington, Vermont.
- Apiary Honey Gold: Inspired by the honey produced by our bees, this warm hue embodies community, collaboration, and the sweet rewards of hard work.
- Dark Brick: This bold hue represents the foundation of our campus, symbolizing strength, resilience, and the journey of knowledge of our Victorian-era residence halls.
It’s important to note that colors aren’t just for aesthetics; they’re a visual representation of our values and aspirations. They remind us that education isn’t confined to the classroom. It’s a journey that takes you through experiences and emotions—from the excitement of starting your major to the calm determination of tackling challenges—much like the hues of our new palette.
The changes are all anchored in our commitment to innovate and, together as a community, redefine what’s possible. Audeamus. Let us dare.
